Aryabhatta gave some of mathematics's earliest concepts like Zero in Pataliputra. Ours is a smaller story: one person's belief that Bihar deserves to be seen differently.
Again and again, I found myself explaining Bihar to people who only knew it through headlines — surprised to learn that histories of Nalanda, Vaishali, and Bodh Gaya originated in the same state, that an empire once ran from here to the edges of the known world.
The more those conversations repeated, the more I realized the problem wasn't that Bihar's story was small. It was that almost nobody was telling it.
Some of world's great heritage sites share a hard lesson: a monument can be famous for centuries while the town around it stays underdeveloped. So TripVihara works differently from the start. We work locally, with sites, people & customs.
We believe tourism should leave Bihar better than it found it — supporting local people whenever practical, respecting the communities that welcome us, and helping visitors understand Bihar rather than simply passing through it.
Bihar receives high number of tourists, especially from East Asian nations. Our aim is to develop the tourism ecosystem of Bihar in the best possible way, so that better memories for visitors as well as locals are created here. Needless to say, we thrive to provide best services possible.
We're still a young company, and we won't get everything right from day one. But these principles will guide every journey we design.
